The design for this came from the requirement to make a product that looked quite cool and subtle. We drew inspiration from charity bands, they go unnoticed everywhere. They blend in. Charity bands would not withstand the level of chewing we see. The other benefit of a charity band is they are great to fidget with. You can squish them and play with them, making them by accident quite a nice stim aid in their own right. But they lack the strength required for our community.
